4G lte
In the process of facilitating easy Internet access at affordable price especially for those living in rural area, in 2017 RTN was granted License by Rwanda Utility and Regulatory Authority (RURA) to act as Internet service provider (ISP). Internet services (4G LTE) are being provided in partnership with Korea Telecom Network-Rwanda (KTRN). RTN primary target for Internet services are service access points/Telecentres proving digital services to citizens.
Fiber optics
Fiber optics is used for long-distance and high-performance data networking. It is also commonly used in telecommunication services, such as internet, television and telephones.
